Interesting to Note

While the prize-winning statue was titled "Unity," the statue was placed on the Tower of Legislature which was titled "Peace," while the male figure was placed on the Tower of Judiciary and was titled "Unity."

Construction Begins

Harry Camden, Jr. makes some final touches to the statue of "Unity" which was on the Tower of Legislature.

Competition models were enlarged and enhanced to create models which were used to create the final figures with the use of a Pantograph.
