Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. Building The Firestone Building is a striking example of modern architecture, with a great rotunda entrance surmountd by a brilliantly lighted fin, towering 100-feet in the air. It houses a modern tire factory, producing a finished tire every four minutes. Featur8ing the exhibit is an extensive farmstead with barns, silos, granary and other buildings. Cattle, sheep, chickens and other live stock roam the fields. The farmstead highlights the many and important uses of rubber on the farm. The entire exhibit including dioramas, scientific demonstrations and historical pageants covers 3 ½ acres. G. W. McLaughlin is the designer.
