Twin ship prows, each 80 feet high (higher that the nose of the Normandie,) give a nautical flavor to the main entrance. The sea effect is further enhanced by the boat decks, a 150-foot mast and a large basin for the display of yachts and cruisers. Architects of the building were Ely Jacques Kahn, William Muchenheim and Morrison J. Brounn.
