Postcard courtesy of Cathy Scibelli

The Trylon, a three-sided obelisk reaches 700 feet above the earth. The Perisphere, 18 stories high, with an interior depicting the “The World of Tomorrow,” is an awe inspiring sight. Together, these two are the Theme Center of the Fair. The sculpture on the left is “Four Victories of Peace” by John Gregory.
