New York World’s Fair Designed to resemble a container for the products it houses, the Cosmetics Building at the New York World’s Fair 1939 is one of the most unusual of the Fair built structures. One of its entrances is by means of a ramp from the Long Island Railroad Station. An auditorium in the building is used for the presentation of motion pictures, pageants and cosmetic shows.
