The Food Number Two Building
New York World’s Fair 1939
This New York world’s Fair building for food exhibitors was designed by Aspinwall and Simpson and M. W. Del Gaudio. It covers an acre and one-quarter of ground. The exterior is painted a brilliant red relieved by red and white murals. The dominant architectural feature is a great circular hall broken by massive entrance pylons. The building contains a restaurant and is located on Constitution Mall near the Government Zone.
