Started on November 1, 2011, this section is for the unique items & stories that are submitted but have no particular area of the site to go.

Thanks to the help from others, these pages will allow those who are interested in the Fair to see things they might otherwise see.

Washington High School Band Letter

Washington High School Band Letter
From Doug Chapman, Sioux Falls, SD.

"Washington HIgh was the first public high school in Sioux Falls, SD. It was founded as Central high in the 1890s, but by 1908 was Washington High (my grandfather graduated in '09 and my grandmother in '12), my mother graduated in 1935 and I in 1964. Until 1962 it was the only high school in the city. My graduating class was just under 1000 seniors!"
