Return to Statues

Sixty-feet tall, the statue of George Washington in his inaugural robes stood proudly in Washington Square on Constitution Mall, between the Trylon & Perisphere and the Lagoon of Nations. The statue was placed so Washington faced the future, the Trylon & Perisphere.
