"All Gas - Good Housekeeping Home" was erected in the court of the Gas Exhibits building at the New York World's Fair 1939.

Designed by Dwight James Baum, the house fearured gas equipment and contained ten rooms and three baths. It was completely furnished by Good Housekeeping Institute, and full cost particulars were supplied to visitors.

Cost of the house itself in the suburban New York area was estimated at $12,000.

Puppet World booklet
Puppet World

Puppet World contains facts about the Victor Puppet Opera, reviews, and other information as well as the synopsis for the following operas which were performed.

  • Aida
  • Carmen
  • La Traviata
  • I Pagliacci
  • Rigoletto
  • Faust

The 16-page booklet was very yellow when I received it. I have changed it into a grey-scale image to load faster and hopefully make it easier to read.
